The Lo-Fi Legacy Of Indonesia

Some of my favorite musical genres from the 60s and 70s tend to have terrible lyrical content, psych, funk, metal etc…  this is one of the reasons I am always excited to discover foreign music from this era…. I can listen to the singing as pure gibberish and not have to put up with drugged out and misguided spiritual nonsense lyrics in English.

I also find the Eastern take on the music coming out of the US and England at that time fascinating.  Everyone was trying to sound like someone else, somewhere else, in the best possible ways.
